1999 codonbur review

Hello,

I am a college student, an office worker, and a person who came to Seoul.

 

Today, I would like to review the "1999 Codonbur" restaurant known as a pork cutlet restaurant

near Sangsu Station.

 

In fact, 1999 Codonbur restaurant is a pork cutlet restaurant well known for 35 million views on YouTube.

Next is the location of the restaurant.

 

 

 

 

 

The location is closer to Sangsu Station than Hongik University Station, and it seems to take about 5 minutes based on exit 1 of Sangsu Station.

 

 

If you look for the map, you'll see the outside building like this

 

The restaurant is on the second floor of the building.

 

 

It's easy to see at a glance, so you don't have to worry about getting lost!

 

 

If you go up the stairs, you will find various tonkatsu and review photos on the wall of the store.

 

There is a separate waiting seat, so I think the boss gave a lot of consideration.

 

 

The menu was so diverse that I couldn't finish it, but you just have to refer to the picture above!

 

The most famous menu is "Cordonbur"! Think of it as cheese stuffed pork cutlet with cheese + vegetables!

 

I ordered "Codonbur + Big pork cutlet."

 

 

Each seat has a cute cup of water

 

 

There are about 7-8 tables for four seats, and there are also single seats, so it would be convenient to eat alone.

 

And it was very sensible to have a separate hanger on top of one seat!

 

 

The various certificates placed on one side of the entrance made me think that
'the boss cooks with really good ingredients.

The overall composition is 'Pork cutlet + salad + spicy pickled radish + cabbage and radish pickles + jangguk + additional sauce'.
Here, the codonbur was given an additional 'hot sauce'.
Jangguk was a common taste. Spicy radish pickles were so delicious as they played a role in holding the greasy pork cutlet tightly.
Even if I couldn't eat all the cabbage and radish pickles, the combination was so good that I could eat all the spicy pickled radish.

 

"Big pork cutlet"

 

 

Just like the name big pork cutlet, it was huge and had a lot of sheep!
I think it's really sensible to pour the sauce on half of the sauce and dip the other half in it.
The well-known big pork cutlet is usually thin, so if you ate it with a crispy texture
Unlike other pork cutlet, this king pork cutlet was tastier because it was not thin.

 

And I was surprised that the batter was so crispy!


I guess it's not about bread crumbs,

"When the order comes in, I put eggs on the meat and bread on it."

I thought, 'Didn't you get this crispy texture because you did it in real time?'

Of course, you can't leave out the sauce when you

 

The sauce here is a pass! No more words needed. It's a pass no matter what!!

I can taste the sweetness of the fruit well in the sauce, and the sauce was very delicious as a light-style pork cutlet.

Cordonbourg pork cutlet is a cheese pork cutlet with vegetables + cheese as shown in the video above.

It might look a little small in the picture, but if you actually eat it

It's enough for an adult male to eat fully.

The cheese here is really different from other cheeses..

If you eat it, you'll know what I'm talking about! It's not the cheese flavor that many people use as processed food

"It's the smell of darker and freshly squeezed cheese..." Anyway, that's right!

The really good cheese and the crunchy texture of vegetables go so well together that I can see why they became famous.

And it could be greasy if you just eat cheese, but they gave me hot sauce, so I liked it so much.
