DosirakJIP MIMI review (korean food)

 

Hello,

I am a college student, an office worker, and a person who came to Seoul.

Today, I want to introduce a Korean restaurant in Hongdae

It's "dosirakjip mimi (米 米)."

(dosirak means lunch box.)

 

 

 

The location is that takes about 10 minutes of Hongik University Station exit number 6

You can think of it as closer to Gyeongui Line Forest Road than Hongik University Street.

 

 

The exterior of the building looks like this.

The interior of the store was not large, so it seemed difficult for more than four people to sit in the same seat.

There were only four tables in total, two tables for two people and two tables sitting side by side.

 

 

It's explained with a pretty menu on the right side of the entrance

(From the top left, it's "salad or vegetable, kimchi, seasonal side dishes that change every day, seasonal desserts, multigrain rice, delicious soup, and main dishes that change every day.")

 

 

 

When you come into the restaurant, you can also see such a small menu.

The big feature of "Lunchbox Mimi" is that the menu changes once a week

 

 

When I visited, the menu was as follows. [Based on 2024.04.09 (Tue)]

 

1. Grilled short rib patties - 13,000 won
2. Chiken Drumstick Steak - 13,000 won
3. Grilled Samchi Teriyaki - 12,000 won
4. Grilled pork neck - 14,000 won

 

If you look at the picture above, it seems like number 1 and 2 is fixed

 

It seems like the menu that changes three or four times a week.

 

The reason is that I saw several other reviews, but it seemed like they were almost continuing to sell menus 1 and 2!!

For this visit, I'm going to eat the signature dish
1. Grilled short rib patties - 13,000 won
2. Chiken Drumstick Steak - 13,000 won

I ordered two like this!

 

 

I'm sitting in a seat where I can sit side by side

The necessary items, such as napkins, paper cups, water, spoons, chopsticks, etc., were basically on the table.

As shown in the picture on the right, the posters with cute sensibilities on the wall seem to further enhance the atmosphere of the restaurant.

The picture came out a little blurry, but doesn't it look very appetizing?

Neat side dishes and glossy Grilled short rib patties just by looking at them, it felt very delicious.

Salad, zucchini greens, egg rolls, stir-fried sausage, and other seasonal side dishes were all delicious

The main menu, Grilled short rib patties also seems to have a soft and fragrant taste of galbi

that is different from the ready-made products.

And! My seaweed soup is dried pollack seaweed soup, and I think I ate it very deliciously

because I felt the strong taste of boiling it for a long time.

 

 

Chiken Drumstick Steak

 

All of the above-mentioned seasonal side dishes were the same, and only the main menu was different.

Maybe because the marinade base used for chicken leg steak and tteok-galbi was similar,

there was only a difference in texture and meat scent

The taste was the same as the Grilled short rib patties, and both were delicious!

So when I say, "Do you want to eat minced meat today?", Eat Grilled short rib patties  

If you ask, "Do you want to eat chicken today?", I think you can eat Chiken Drumstick Steak

There are various restaurants near Hongik University Station, but most of them are hamburgers, chicken, and ramen

I don't think there were many menus with rice, which can be said to be a staple food for Koreans.

So if you think of such a neat Korean table and your mom's table, I recommend "dosirakjip mimi"!
