Hello,

I am a college student, a office worker , and a person who came to Seoul.

Please understand that I used a translator because I am not good at English.

I usually use the Gyeongui Jungang Line a lot because of my job

Since I ride this "Gyeongui Jungang Line" a lot, when I get off, people commonly get off
I think there are some parts that are difficult, so I'd like to blog about it. (Especially foreigners!)

First of all, most people visit exits 1 and 2 or 8 and 9 when they come to Hongdae Station! !

if you go down after looking at the "exit" sign that you can see
maybe you get off at the Gyeongui Jungang Line , you will only see exits 6 and 7

when you try to go out to exit 1,2,8,9 that we are looking for.
There may be situations where you have to take two turnstiles

(Of course, there's a way to go back up and find the right place~)

The situations that I've seen a lot
Most of the time, they just look at the "exit" sign, they go down the escalator, they stand in front of the ticket gate
"Is this the right place? Can I go out here?" I saw a lot of people standing there.

That's why I'm writing to help with these situations.

I was heading to Gajwa → Hongik University Station → Sogang University.

The train I was in was 1-2

You'll see the escalator as soon as you get off.

If you ride it down, there is the ticket gate that I mentioned earlier.

If you want to go out to exit 1, 2, 8, or 9, you have to take another one!

So if you saw this article first, you can't go down this way, right?

it's well explained on the wall like this.

It's well explained on the floor, so if you walk in that direction

There's a sign here and there

Exit 6 and 7 are U-turns and exits 1-9 are straight.

If you really walk to the end like that, you'll see this escalator.

If you come down the escalator and see the florist, half of you are here!

You can see exits 1, 2, 8, and 9 on the sign above, right? You can walk straight in that direction!

If you're not sure even though you're there, you can just follow the people who are going ahead on the right side of the street! !

In addition,

Exit 6 of Hongik University Station is currently under construction in the downward direction of the escalator...

(Incoming to the station)

On the contrary,

the escalator at Exit 7 of Hongik University Station is under upward construction.

(The direction to exit the station)

So if you use exit 7, you will have to use the elevator in front of the exit or use the stairs.

Be careful because there are a lot of stairs!

(If you have any problems with translation or English, I would appreciate it if you could advise me)

Have a nice trip
